From the number of “thumbs downers”, it’s apparent that Hamilton and his staff read the Daily Globe! She must be perceived as a viable threat.
LIghten up, folks, November 2014 is a long way off.

A viable threat? ——“Hamilton won his fifth two-year term with 10,165 votes. Avenel-Navara had 6,745″
You say “LIghten up, folks, November 2014 is a long way off. ”
She is the one who did the Globe article, not Hamilton, maybe she needs to “lighten up”.

So, pat. e., what motivates the “thumbs downers” to so strongly denounce a simple “congratulations” posting? Concern? Partisanship? Fear? Anger? Paranoia? Cluelessness? Stupidity? Theirs was a total over-reaction.
Like it or not, Hamilton is vulnerable, in part because the election is some 17 months away. A lot can happen (or not) between now and then. The voting public is tired of do-nothing, obstructionist, whining politicians.
Who, other than the candidate, would you expect to make this type of announcement? And how is it that when he or she does, the candidate is supposed to “lighten up?” Your comment makes absolutely no sense.

“The voting public is tired of do-nothing, obstructionist, whining politicians.” Correct! That’s why she will probably garner less votes than last time, people are getting tired of the whining and lying coming from the left.

You don’t seem to get it, do you? She’s not a politician, not an elected official. She’s not had the opportunity to do anything (yet). Explain to us how what role she plays in MN politics today? Oh, I see…
And, if I were you, I wouldn’t spend too much time predicting elections. Remember 2012? Now it’s your turn to “lighten up”. Find a new drum to beat. November 2014 is a long way away.

“You don’t seem to get it, do you? She’s not a politician, not an elected official. She’s not had the opportunity to do anything (yet). Explain to us how what role she plays in MN politics today?” Announcing that she intends to lose an election again in 2014 throws her in the middle of Mn politics! And yes Robert, I DO get it very well. The last thing we need is another rubber stamp, uncontrollable spender from the left, making decisions for us.

Gosh if the thumbs up/ thumbs down on here are any indication I think she is wasting her time and (someone’s) money.
