The Worthington school board’s guideline of how many players are required to field a girl’s hockey team is strictly opinion. The association is capable of deciding how many players are needed and making sure they have those numbers. The editorial staff at the Globe has no right to say that the association is or would stand in the way of the girls team. There would be no Girl’s Team without the association! The school district approached Windom to discuss a merger before discussing their concerns with the hockey association. The school board is THE only thing standing in the way of our girl’s season.

Seems like the school board stands in the way of a LOT of things. How did they become experts on everything, that probably a majority of them, have no experience in?
