Test scores: All but one school in JPS fail to meet AYP standards

All but one of Jamestown Public Schools failed to make Adequate Yearly Progress this year as defined by federal No Child Left Behind legislation with reading scores up from last year and math scores down slightly.
“Obviously, we’re disappointed we didn’t make AYP in more of our schools,” JPS Superintendent Bob Toso said at Monday’s meeting of the Jamestown Public School Board.
