Corps officials say high flow at Jamestown within capacity of dams

Officials expect higher-than-normal flows this spring in the upper James River basin when a thaw does arrive, according to a report issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers earlier this week. But they stress that the water will be well within the capacities of the Jamestown and Pipestem dams.
