“They are fighting attempts by governments to close off access to records or hold secret meetings, and they are demanding a higher degree of accountability from elected officials.”
What we need is a candidate that promises to have “the most transparent administration ever”. Perhaps, one that would post all pending bills on the Internet 5 days before signing them.
Then the media might not brag how they enjoy presidential access because “they don’t ask any ‘gotcha’ questions”. Instead of hearing about the wife’s hairdo, we might be able to know where the survivors from Bengahzie are, or the progress on the “Fast & Furious” investigation is going. “What difference does it make?” as some would say when pressured for the truth.

Yeah, I’ll bet you prefer, “The Iraqi government has weapons of mass destruction”; or “Sadaam Hussein was responsible for killing Americans on 9/11″. Or how about, “Great job, Brownie”!
