Budget woes worry western Wisconsin schools

I would like to see Senator Harsdorf address the loss of revenue for schools that has occurred because of Use Value Property Tax assessments. This allows Harsdorf to receive a much lower property tax rate than residential homeowners in Wisconsin. The fact that Harsdorf receives a special property tax exemption requires us, her “neighbors” as she refers to us, to pay much higher property taxes than she does and reduces the amount of funding for our local schools. When will she work to repeal this unfair tax law and restore the funding for our schools?

Sen. Harsdorf is not at friend of the schools. She will support Gov. Walker and his budget no matter what.
