All I know is, my healthcare costs have gone up significantly since this “Obamacare” charade. It was supposed to save money? For who? I know my insurance coverage is worse and more expensive because it can be due to the new healthcare reform laws. If its so good, everybody including the law writers need to be covered by the same rules. I like the idea of reform, but how about taking the time to get it right instead of jamming a turd down our throats.

Obamacare doesn’t take effect until 1/1/14. That’s when insurance company profits will be limited to 15%. Be mad at the insurance companies for raising your rates so high right now while they can take advantage of the situation.

I realize Obamacare is not in effect yet, but that doesn’t mean insurance companies aren’t changing their policies and kicking the costs down the pike already! They’re covering less and less and charging more and more. Its a joke. I may get a raise each year, but I’m losing money. Its going to get uglier.

It depends on the plan your company has with the insurance company. Most really large companies are actually self-insured, which means the insurance company only handles the claims, but the company you work itself makes the plan benfits. So be mad at your company in most cases, not the insurance company. I have what we once used to consider catastrophic insurance, $3k deductible, and then it is a 70/30 coverage. It sucks big time. It is the new philosophy of make the ones who use it pay for it.
