The public will get a chance to comment on a future land use plan for Jamestown and the surrounding area next month, according to Stephanie Falkers, planner for SRF Consulting, which provides planning consulting services for city of Jamestown.

Isn’t there a conflict of interest to have a builder as chairman of the Planning Commission?

Why would it be a conflict of interest? He is a contractor. This is the planning commission, which last time I checked takes more than one vote to pass items. Not to mention the planning commission only makes recommendations, the city council has the final say.
