…..and this is newsworthy WHY??!! Don’t these handwringers have anything better to do with their time like..oh…say…. come up with a reasonable alternative that will create the jobs, economic activity, and resource security that the pipeline will????? How about this Katie, you and your husband ride around in your pedal-powered-capsule of alternative reality and leave the rest of us alone that are responsible for actually contributing to the economy and suffering from the NIMBY attitude you and others of your ilk suffer from.

I believe the state department just relased another enviromental report on Friday that indicates the enviromental effects of this pipeline are not that drastic and that the Canucks are going to sell this oil either way. Why must we constantly shoot ourselves in the foot when it comes to energy independence? Why not buy oil from our ally and close trading partner? The canucks must think we are absolute morons!

1. They traveled in a bus, powered by OIL, and when it got too cold, they sought shelter in a building, probably heated by OIL – in order to protest an OIL pipeline. What classic hypocracy!
2. Is “Rainbow” the child’s real name? What fool would doom their child by doing that? Who wold ever take the word of someone named “rainbow” seriously?
