OUR VIEW: GOP could learn from NJ Gov. Christie
February 27, 2013 at 12:55 am in The Daily Republic
Even in this hardened and calloused world of partisan politics, it’s tough not to sympathize with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who evidently is being blacklisted for his recent cordialities toward Democratic President Barack Obama.

Excuse me, but who the ^%& are you to say who is or isn’t a “true” American Patriot? This is more of a situation where Christie – as an elected leader – puts the needs of his electorate ABOVE his party (let alone his ego)… you know, where it BELONGS. THAT takes something you obviously have none of; it’s just easier sitting on your porcelain throne passing judgement, than actually DOING something. Wake up.
Hot debate. What do you think?

You wake up! So if RINO Christie implements the expansion Medicaid he puts the needs of his electorate ABOVE his party and his ego? So then are you trying to tell me if Gov. Daugaard doesn’t support the expansioin of Medicaid he puts his party and ego above the needs of his electorate? Oh really!

The fact that you get your “news” from Fox weakens your credibility. There is more than one side to these issues, and you would do yourself (and those around you) a world of benefit by educating yourself. Try reading articles from BOTH sides; pick out the FACTS, and debride the chaff.
The article was regarding Christie’s criticism of Congress adjourning without giving approval of hurricane relief for victims in his state. The MAIN POINT – and you really need to understand this – is that TO GET THINGS DONE, sometimes YOU HAVE TO WORK WITH THE OPPOSING PARTY. Vilifying anyone who disagrees with you does NOTHING BUT DIVIDE AND POLARIZE people; it’s the epitome of arrogance, because you assume you’re right just because you’re the “Right” party.
And yes – if Daugaard DOESN’T support the expansion of Medicaid, he WILL be putting his party and ego above the needs of his electorate. He HAS to do SOMETHING other than ship them off to Idaho.
Hot debate. What do you think?

TeaPublican, it is you and your fellow believers that are RINOs. Could not create your own party so instead you hijack another party on the local level. Even Karl Rove’s big check writers were all over him for giving money to the nutjobs like Aiken and Mourdock who got beaten in strong red state. You and your fellow space dwellers should maybe move somewhere and start your own commune.

But Stan Giglio, you just don’t understand! We TeaPublicans don’t have to create another Party because we ARE taking back America and our Republican Party! For goodness sakes, haven’t you been paying attention how our own Kristi Noem has helped us achieve our TeaPublican goals! Just look at the Sequester! We will willing take the blame for it! We Won! We Won! OMG! We TeaPublicans and America won! We got our Sequester cuts! The severe spending cuts are now the law of the land! No way did we ever think that since that guy obama came to power that we would ever have the power to make Republicans force tax cuts upon the American people! OMG! I still can’t believe it! Now we have less then a month to force our Republicans to take the TeaPublican line when negotiating a plan to fund the government beyond March 27! And just wait until that debt-ceiling clash comes up in May! OMG! We TeaPublicans are either going to get everything we want or we are going to shut obama’s government down! We WILL shut the government down until they give TeaPublicans what we want! TeaPublicans got the Sequester March 1 and we will shut obama’s government down in May! Our own “American Spring”! See, I told you! I told you so stan giglio! We TeaPublicans ARE taking America back and we WILL in 2014 and 2016 too! Thank you God! Thank you for answering our prayers!! I told you so! We TeaPublicans ARE taking America back and we WILL in 2014 and 2016 too! Thank you God! Thank you for answering our prayers!

Are you serious?
Really?
You’re going to “keep it up until you get EVERYTHING you want”?
Change the channel, take a walk…or something. Your posts make folks wonder, to say the least. Either you’ve been duct-taped to a chair and force-fed Fox News until your eyes glazed over and your drooling became uncontrollable, or….you’re just trolling the ‘net and stirring the pot.

Wow TeaPub, are you for real? I kind of doubt it but it’s kind of scary that people like you may exist.

I noticed that this teapublican guy is getting thumbs up and that is just a scary. These folks are the problem in why our nation is stagnant on its recovery. They are more of the problem then the solution. Sadly, they would rather go down with the ship then to chip in on the bailing!

A note about the thumbs up number–some who make the public library their home go from one computer to another each time giving their own posts a thumbs up. So, take heart, it’s not as bad as it seems, thank god.
