Though I have not lived on a farm in 25 years, I still remember horrible scenes of sows fighting and how dangerous it was for my parents working with them. Maybe someone should send the Humane Society of picture of a sow torn up from other sows . There is nothing humane about what a sow will do to another sow. I’ve seen it first hand and a farrowing crate is a necessary tool to keep a sow safe as well as not allowing her to attack other sows.
