I also want to voice my disgust of those profound reprobates that write and direct television programs and movies of violence and immorality. Continue Reading

Marvin,
Thanks for your letter. I wish I could say it’s going to get better someday but it seems that prophecy is being fullfilled right before our eyes. I’m not sure we can stop the onslaught of the so-called progressives who seek to remove any remnants of moral restraint from society.
All we can do is to raise our own children with diigence and Godly teaching so that they will have the strength to do what’s right. Clearly we are hard-pressed on every side but the good news is still the good news. You can only go downhill for so long before you finally hit the bottom.

Remember when we had 3 channels. Remember when Walter Chronkite REPORTED the news and left us to make our own interpretation of the facts. I often listen to CNN, CNBC, and public radio to balance the spin so I can maybe get to some proximity of the truth. I don’t blame the media for appealing to their respective bases. People certainly want to believe what they want to believe and like to listen to someone spin facts into their own version of the truth. The fact is, we must blame ourselves. Shame on us for accepting any of the slanted bs that comes out of either side. I am not so sure the erosion of our culture shouldnt be firmly planted at the feet of the media but it is still us letting them get away with it. Marah Liason, to me can be a little left on public radio in her praise of Obama, however public radio is still the closest thing to what Walter used to give the people he felt he served. Journalism is otherwise dead and it is all entertainment. Shame on us for letting it come to this. Maybe a solution would be to have a fact checker out there. It could be paid for with fines set against those stations that lie, cheat and steal from the publics trust. Suggestions/thoughts?
