Love of the ice: Stilwell, Jays hope to go out with a bang

Mark Stilwell had to resort to idle threats to get his young son Jake off the ice.
“We had to tell him when he was a kid that the Zamboni would hurt him,” he joked. “We had to tell him that it was comin’ to get him. As a dad with a lot of hockey in his background, that was kind of nice.”

I agree. We have really been blessed the past few years with some really class act young men and women on our high school hockey teams. The seniors will be missed by the fans and the youth as well. Good luck to both teams in the post season this year.

really, 6 dislikes to Farley’s comment commending the girls and boys hockey teams on their seasons?? I personally am very proud of how well both teams do and the class they show, keep up the good work!! And I think both coaches are doing a good job with their teams!
