What in the world is North Dakota coming to? Is there anything the legislaters don’t want to stick their busy body noses into?

This is reflective of the fact ND legislators view themselves as partriarchs and their constituents as children. They tell us when we may shop on Sundays, what pharmacies we are allowed to have, what taxes we pay, the list is endless. Problems is, their replacements would do the same thing.

ND legislature is full of idiots by even considering or passing such stupid bills lately. They need to keep their noses out of peoples lives, let people decide what they want on their own. Makes me Glad I don’t live in ND. Lawmakers that get pushed around by religious view have no business being in legislature. That is the reason church and state should be seperate and remain that way.

Of course not. Growing up in North Dakota meant internalizing certain morés. Combine that with an absolute aversion to change, even as the country moved forward, and you end up with a state living in the 19th century. Why do you think young people flock out of here and refuse to return?

Nd/ nw mn has very little diversity and challange to their line of conservative values. This has resulted in a standoff/ resistance to change. I for one enjoy having different views than my neighbors but do not judge them because they are different.
