Why not have chickens? With the economy the way it is, we all should be able to keep a few, especially when they’re just hens. The one squeaky wheel gets the grease I guess. They are far less annoying than a barking dog. People need to relax and enjoy their lives instead of worrying about some chickens clucking around a back yard!

I can see limiting the size of the flock but a couple of chickens to me is no different than owning a rabbit, a gerbil, a hamster, etc…
