What!! 27 bridges are substandard? How can this be in a county so rich that the county is thinking of spending $14 million to buy a library that is mostly used by the residents of one city in the county (Worthington)? Well most of the bridges are in western Nobles county along the Kanaranzi creek where not too many county residents live so it’s easy to ignore them right? Much better to provide nice facilities for the 77 % of Nobles county residents who live in Worthington and use the library then to worry about roads or bridges for the few residents in western Nobles county trying to transport livestock, grain or other products over county roads.
Hot debate. What do you think?
