While UND sees MN as its #1 rival, I think that MN considers WI in that role. As for Hakstol, he was given a new 6-year contract at a potential salary higher than any UND faculty will make in a 30-year career. If he doesn’t win the NCAA banner in that period he, like Gasparini before him, will be toast.
