BISMARCK – After 31 years as a teacher, Sen.Phillip Murphy, D-Portland, said if he were locked out of his job “it would rock my world.” Continue Reading

The value of Murphy’s lavish retirement account is guaranteed by those of us in the private sector; cry me a river!

This is absolutely unbelieveable. This isn’t a “lock out” anymore. These guys walked out on their jobs! They and their “union” have refused any offer from Crystal Sugar. Crystal Sugar is still operating with their new workers just fine nearly 2 years after this “walk out”. It is time for these guys to move on and find NEW jobs! There are plenty of them out there, especially in western ND.

At what point and time can this be over?? Union employees decided they didn’t want to work. Shouldn’t this be the end of the story?? Crystal Sugar has employees now that appreciate their job and are doing it well. No company or state should have to compensate people that refuse to go back to work!! Where does this end?? Payments to them till they retire?? This is absolutely ridiculous.

They don’t need unemployment, they basically decided not to work. There are plenty of jobs available for them if they need a job, but it seems they are too lazy to find one. If your locked out, still don’t have a job, whining about unemployment, it just proves what kind of work ethic you have.

The problem as I see it … labor leaders became more concerned about the welfare of the union than the livelihood of the union members.

Unions keep the democrat party afloat so the union members will get unemployment from Dayton and the democrat Minnesota legislature. There is nothing to stop them.

The possibility of having one’s “world rocked” ought to be among the chief considerations when voting down a contract offer….should it not?
