I can guarantee Mr. Lemke is lying straight up. Anyone on the page his fiancee ran can tell you, they collected $10,000. Heck, one of Lemke’s friends from Minnesota alone donated $1,000, several people donated $200-500, more donated $100 and less. Rick kept a running tab after each person donated saying how much total had been donated to the fund. Rick said multiple times “Let’s get this to $10,000 and then we’ll post it on the flyers as a reward for information leading to finding Eric.” Another young girl was making ribbons and pins and selling them (I specifically remember her asking what Eric’s favorite colors were so the ribbons would be those colors). I don’t think a young kid would put together a scheme to steal money from people concerned for their friend.
Something stinks about all of this.
