Local lawmakers respond to Gov. Walker’s State of State Address

With a re-election bid 21 months away, Gov. Scott Walker reviewed his accomplishments thus far and promised to “double down” on efforts improve Wisconsin’s job climate as he delivered his State of the State address Jan. 15. Continue Reading

Senator Kathleen Vinehout and her antiquated ideals needs to get the boot when her term is up. I would suggest that she look no further than to the Democrat controlled states to the West and the South. These states are quickly failing and are going to be gifts to Wisconsinites as businesses on the move are welcomed in and the dreaded 1% flock to Our Great State to seek tax relief. With Scott Walker at the helm and conservative minded individuals that will follow his lead our state will flourish and become a beacon of prosperity and we, as cititzens, will all share in this prosperity with new employment opportunities for ourselves and our neighbors and relief for all taxpayers as we continue to grow and move forward. This is not about politicial positioning as Senator Vinehout would like to try to divide us and have us believe – this is about the success of Our State and those that call Wisconsin Our Home!
Hot debate. What do you think?

From the same article: ‘There is little cause for celebration after Washington’s reckless spending spree resulted in massive deficits, record debt, and failed to create the jobs promised. Washington increased each Wisconsinite’s share of the national debt past $43,000 this year ‘
From me: Thank you not Obama and Democrat controlled House and Senate of 2009 for this mess of which the article refers to.
FYI: I know it seems like forever, but Scott Walker took office in Jan 2011.

The economic collapse, bailouts and stimulus all began under The Republicans. Remember Bush giving 17 billion dollars to GM? The GDP dropped almost 7% the last quarter of 2008. The housing sector started collapsing in 2006. The massive deficits were created from the republican wars(four trillion) and loss of revenue from the recession. Funny how republicans almost totally destroyed the country, yet the democrats get the blame.
