Then why can’t so many people just stop?

I just adore self righteous people. Come on, put down the cheeseburger and think about it for a couple of minutes.

It seems to me if these “E” cigs catch on and people see other people enjoying them, of course they’ll be banned. People that can’t stand smoking will complain whether the “E” cigs smell or not. It’s called whiners with POWER.

I quit smoking many years ago, in case you’re wondering.

Have they come out with e-weed yet? An odorless product would be a top seller.

Hello DC, thanks for your message. They should legalize MJ and treat it like alcohol as far as penalties. Could they make a EMJ cig without the wonderful aroma? Get to work on that please.

Judy Splonskowski: I like your attitude at the end of the article that you can do it and make it work.
You CAN do it! Once you’re off the e cigs, make sure you clear your house and property of all smoking accessories. Everything. Ashtrays, lighters, left over cigs. Everything! Inform everyone you are quitting and prepare them for crabbiness. I think they can all put up with temporary crabbiness knowing that you are trying to quit.
Once you stop smoking, it’s all mental after that.
People have a hard time remembering how to do things without smoking.
Just inhale and exhale as if you are puffing on a cig until the urge passes. Better yet, go for a short walk.
If you slip, don’t beat yourself up but don’t give in. Get back on the wagon and keep trying.
Don’t give those cigarettes power over you! You are in control!
Make a list of 5 reasons why you want to quit and put them in a place where you will see them often. Refere to them when you feel the urge to smoke.
Reward yourself to something special when you reach milestones. Save your cig money and watch it grow. Maybe you can use some of that money to reward yourself with something later. Something without nicotine!
15 years smoke free for me. One of the hardest things I ever done was quitting my 2 pack a day habit and one of my proudest accomplishments. I did it cold turkey, but everyone has their own way.
Good luck! It’s hard, but oh so worth it!
