Speaking of which … nothing irritated me more than when Sarah Palin corrected someone who used the word snowmobiles.
In her snarky tone she said … “They aren’t called snowmobiles. They are called snowmachines.”
We have every catalog Arctic Cat has put out for the past twenty-five years. Not anywhere in any issue is the word snow machines printed. Sarah’s husband rides for Arctic Cat. I would think she would have some of the same literature.
My parents are from TRF. We grew up using the term snowcats. That is until my sister married a Polaris rider. He corrects us every time we use the word.

Did you ever hear of the “snowcat” streaking incident in Hallock in the 70′s where 3 individuals streaked down Highway 75 in January in front of the Eagles Club while riding snowmobiles?
