My opinion is they should put the comment section back up. There were many productive debates, which show all sides of the political spectrum. If forum communications is threatened by other views than they’re own they should not be producing news papers.
P.s. this board was pretty tame when compared to major market newspapers.

How about a fair tax? Tax people on what they buy, not what they earn. I’m generally liberal, but this idea makes a lot of sense to me, and the only way for it to get traction is at the local or state level first.

The problem is the lower the income the higher the percentage of their income they pay in taxes. This would only increase the percentage as you go down the income ladder.
