Jamestown is one step closer to having a ball diamond dedicated to fastpitch softball after Monday’s Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.

“As a taxpayer are you willing to pay for the college football team, the college basketball team, the college softball team, et cetera … Are we as a park board responsible for helping the college having a good field?” he asked. Maybe Mr.Knoblich should get more involved with high school athletics then he would know Jamestown now has a girls varsity softball team that was one win away from making it to the state tournament last year in their first year as a varsity team.This field will not only be used by Jamestown College but also by the Jamestown high school Blue Jays. As a college student are you willing to support Mr. Knoblichs St. Patricks day run? Hmmm
