A lot of money is paid in as taxes, both by oil companies, and mineral owners … money that should be invested in road improvement (HEL-L-O-O-O-O!!!).
Apparently the ruling class parasites (AKA policy makers) would rather spend that money on their special projects, rather than investing in the infrastructure that supports their golden goose.

I was told that Mrs. Hodell was going over the speed limit, but I’m not sure. You would have to check the police report.
I grew up driving on country roads. They are getting more dangerous and battered down. It’s hard to say if the accidents are isolated to country roads. What it comes down to is that the counties need to take care of the roads. They need more money from the state. But at the end of the day people need to learn to be better drivers and adapt to what is going on. We can’t be driving 60 mph on a gravel road, especially when you can’t see. Let’s all be smart about this.

Yeah, don’t even consider slowing down in the dust. If someone sitting behind you in the car covered your eyes, you probably wouldn’t slow down then either.
