I’m glad someone wants to invest money in the North End of GF. I actually like this location. I would love to see Demers Avenue thriving with businesses such as this one.
Best of Luck to the new owner. I know it costs a small fortune to open a place like this.

“I’m glad someone wants to invest money in the North End of GF.”
Traditionally, Demers has marked the boundary between north and south. So wouldn’t it be in the south end, given it is on the southside of Demers?

Look up the word crotchedy. When you are done let me know. I have a long list of words for you to review. If you are in need of a study buddy … call Mr. Schurkey.

My grandma is an athlete, if shooting and poker are considered to be a sport.

Great, first we lose millions of dollars of marketing revenue when they tore down old Smiley the Watertower and now we’re losing the Big Daddy’s sign? This town has been in a collapse ever since we lost the Big G.
Hot debate. What do you think?

The only others are in MSP where there are 5. GF must be attractive to them.

Big Daddy’s is going away? We lost another local business! Altho I haven’t been in there for years I hate to see a little bit of Grand Forks disappear. Luckily I took some photos of the place a few years ago. I did the same with a lot of local establishments before they disappeared.

It continues to amaze me that the only thing people can think of to do around this area is drink. We wonder why we have alcoholics, dropouts, crime and mental retardation as rampant as we do. Get a life, people. I’m not against drinking per se, I just think we are saturated (no pun) with bars now, and drinking shouldn’t be a person’s number one leisure activity.
Hot debate. What do you think?

I somewhat agree with your statement, but unfortunately there are not a lot of better options in the city.

Liquor licenses #s are no different than other cities. Any city the size of GF with a university does not lack things to do. Pay attention and you’ll find more to do than you have time for besides drinking.
