The dentist our children go to has insisted that 2 of the 3 “need” braces (at a tme when their baby teeth were falling out regularly). We took our oldest for a 2nd opinion elsewhere and that dentist said that there was only 1 tooth that was a “potential issue” and that it does not deem a need for braces. The only issue with our youngest child is a small gap between their top front teeth. I’ve never heard a word from our dentist about sealants.
