Well Ryan…If it’s cold you crave you could join Fines and his crew in his little walk across the Antarctic in the winter dark where the temps can get down to -130….Do you think that’d be chilly enough for you? Here’s the kicker…He’s doing this stroll at the spry young age of 68…..68….Hell…I’m 58 and even I am finally feeling less tolerance for winter weather much less those extremes.
As for the local though…..From your article….I get the feeling that all this cold weather you’re wishing for is cold weather “Out There” and not cold weather you’d be doing much in other than going from warm vehicle to warm building and reverse if you have an automatic starter. I worked construction and such in real winter weather back when we had cold ass winters. We never spent much time wishing for cold winters because we had to deal with them head on….All day long. Do you?
By the by…..if any young guys really want to build upper body strength as well as arms, but just can’t afford paying for a gym. Just buy a pic axe, and a post hole digger then go to work on frozen ground someplace. You’ll be chiseled in no time….And believe me…That cold you first feel just melts away after a few minutes of trying to dig into frozen ground
