Is every business in downtown Duluth that fails going to start blaming the Last Place on Earth for their misfortunes?

We find that being in down town Duluth is not a friendly place- Not blaming the LPOE- go into the office building area – workers are standing on the sidewalks outside the doors of their buildings smoking- which you have to walk through- walk the sidewalks or skywalk and there is little or no eye contact with people coming at you. Try saying hi to someone in the skywalk and you get a suspicious look or a head down. I have experimented the last few years with hi’s and good mornings with a cheerful smile- try it- there is little response. Parking is a problem- to go in and get lunch you can’t park and go in most of the time- and ramps just add time. It is easier to go to the Mall area -

This eatery is not closing because of the LPOE, it is closing because the food was not very good, service was sketchy and they didn’t pay their rent.
