It’s going to be very difficult to get that thing down without destroying it in the process or costing a lot of money to ensure it doesn’t. Might be more cost effective to diagram it and be able to recreate a proportionately scaled down version of it in case it doesn’t cooperate during the dismantling.

Let’s keep the style but update it to modern technology and call the area Cottage View Shoppes – the word “Shoppes” could replace “Drive-In.” It could have digital announcements or a list of the shops where the movie titles were. Just an idea!

CG would have to revise their sign ordinance to allow a newer digital panel added to it (I’m assuming you mean similar to the one on 494 in Woodbury?). They banned that style a few years back.

I think the guy who bought Porky’s, has a mini spiral bridge in Hastings should buy it an put a small drive Inn there. It would fit in perfectly. I believe its owned by the Bauer family in Hastings. The sign would stay true to its roots and be close by, that is if it can’t be refurbished and used right where it is.
