Tribune editors that wrote the first sentence are uneducated and desperately need to become informed and stop harming society with their ignorance.
Cheers for Congress? You cannot be serious. Congress created the issue by not doing their job so they kicked the can down the road. Then when they again failed to do their job for over another year, they created something ignorantly called a fiscal cliff. Again, they did not do their job and passed a half-assed patch job that has to be revisted. Congress has not and apparently will not do its job – no cheers called for, just disgust – they warrant firing.
A very simple example that has no where near the damaging affect to society. A child does not do their term paper due at the end of the year. They wait until the end of the year and beg the teacher for more time. Teacher relents and gives the student one more month. The student waits until the final night and turns in an incomplete paper a day late. Give the student cheers – I don’t think so.
