I came through South Dakota in October before the pheasant season and most of the corn was off. I didn’t see a single pheasant on the way through when it is normal to see many. I just said to myself “It looks like a waste of time to plan my usual pheasant huntring trip to South Dakota.” I stayed home and went to a game farm instead. It was a lot less costly too.
