This legislation did nothing to avoid the fiscal cliff – all we did was climb higher up the mountain of debt in search of a much higher ledge to jump off. Obumma and his tax and spend Dems fully own this disastrous economy lock, stock, and barrel. This is a disgrace.

Because Repubs have memory loss issues, Obama inherited a 1.2 Trillion dollar a year deficit from Bush along with collapsed banking, brokerage, insurance and auto industry leaders in bankruptcy, record unemployment, record bankruptcies and record home foreclosures and STILL he’s cut the deficit, taxes and spending.

Apparently having difficulty with reading comphrension, so let me say again…Obama has cut spending, taxes and deficit lower then where the Repubs had it. In fact he capped all new spending in 2010 if wasn’t funded by equal cuts, legislation that no Republicans voted for. His 2013 budget reflects a 20% reduction in budget spending over again where budget was that he inherited.
Repubs live in some altered Faux News universe and keep living in this fantasyland acting as if was Obama that was handed a 200 Billion budget surplus and turned it into a 1.2 Trillion budget deficit…SMH!! In reality he was handed a 1.2 Trillion budget deficit and has been hammering on it and shrinking it…he could do better…if the Repubs would get out of the way.

Please tell us all fastone just how this ridiculous farce of a spending bill is good for this country? We have a spending problem, a government dependency problem, and a reduction in individual liberties problem. Obumma is driving this Nation into the ditch as he plays golf in Hawaii and the handout crowd is cheering because “they got theirs”. Well do the math Einstein, we can’t get there from here. Like Howard Dean said recently “taxing the rich is a good start but everyone is going to have to pay their fair share”. In Obumma’s global eyes everyone in the US is the 1% and the rest of the world is the 99%. You can keep blaming Bush, which is quite embarrassing at this point, and keep telling yourself Obumma is doing a fine job. Welcome to Greece my friend!

umm yeah everyone is paying their fair share after this deal because even though income taxes on wealthy earners went up so did the payroll tax which hits ALL INCOME EARNERS (and lower and middle disproportionally hurt more by the payroll tax) so…..stop listening to the Murdoch media machine that tells you 47 percent of people are worthless and dont pay taxes…sheesh.

Obama has despite the handicap of a Norquist pact, an economy mirroring the Great Depression and being handed not just collapsed economy but a 1.2 Trillion budget deficit and TWO totally mismanaged and unfunded wars….has nonetheless capped spending…and has the economy on recovery and has drawn down the deficit and all your nonsense and all the lies and propaganda by the far right and Faux news doesn’t change that.
I can’t make you right, but you can by starting to check your facts and stop believing everything spoon fed to you telling you what to believe by Faux News and Heritage Foundation for their own agenda. I’m a fiscal conservative with economics and business background that has run three different companies with total P&L and consulted to CEO’s in Fortune 500′s in my field….I care very much about our economy as it directly impacts my clients and myself. IMHO I feel have very good handle on economics and from Reagan forward I’ve watched Republican policies totally trash our economy with the most toxic policies. From trickle down reaganomics, to we’re going to be a service based economy, to banking deregulation and this latest economic meltdown that created with it a mountain of debt and complete collapse of economy. But wasn’t the only one, there was the Silverado S&L recession that tanked the economy for two years also.
It’s the sign to me of someone who has nothing else but to keep trying to blame Obama for the total disaster of economy the Repubs created of someone totally owned by the rightwing propaganda machine…you’re a Foxbot…void of facts but full of biased and baseless rhetoric that can’t support.
