I had whooping cough in the 1980s as an adult- I went to several doctors don’t think the word Whooping Cough ever came up. It wasn’t until WC started to accelerate and I read the symptoms that I realized that is what I had. Now realizing that I probably didn’t have any protection left from the vaccine. My cough was so deep- I felt like would cough my guts out- it was a dry cough and then a big gob of mucus would shoot out several feet unexpectedly- it was horrible,
