AMEN to what you said! I was in on the beginning of The Place in 1974 as a Sophomore, on the teen board at first, and later on the adult board. The location has been changed several times, but I have fond memories of the humble beginnings at the arena and later in the old building by the football field. Wow, next year will mark 40 years since its start. Teenagers should still have a safe place to hang out.
