What are the quality of jobs being accepted?
How many people have just given up, thus aren’t counted?
How many people have moved on elsewhere?

Pat, don’t know why you have dislikers, you just asked a couple simple questions that I too would like answers to.
If one reads the story it is actually valueless..

Once you exhaust your unemployment benefits (which all too soon happens to most of the unemployed in Obamas recession) you are no longer counted as unemployed. You cease to exist as far as the government is concerned. This is a direct result of the government switching from using the U6 reporting method which showed all people out of work to the U3 method which shows only those collecting unemployment benefits. Local municipalities now use the same method of calculating the unemployed.

What happened in 2008? Well the mismanagement of our economy by 8 years Republicans happened which totally destroyed it, sent our top corporations from auto, banking, insurance and brokerage firms into bankruptcy and the whole economy was ready to completely collapse. It was another record year of personal bankruptcies, foreclosures and record government budget deficits and increased foriegn trade debt. It took trillions of government spending to in fact try to save the economy from being greater then the Great Depression.
Oh, I know what your silly azz was implying but the fact is that was all before Obama was even elected. George W. and Paulson were clammering in Sept. that if we didn’t bail out all these firms that there was no doubt our economy would in fact completely collapse…that was in September…2 months before we even had an election. The most cataclysmic economic event of our lifetimes and off last 80 years….and odd…Republicans regardless of how many times remind them of that…Gee…they just can’t seem to remember it…SMH!!
BUSH: “Those of you who have followed my career know I’m a Free Market person until you’re told that if you don’t take decisive measures then it’s conceivable that our country could go into a Depression greater than the Great Depression.”

I wonder why some people seem to be just naturally resistant to good news?
Every time there’s a positive story here about something happening in Duluth, they are the first to say “well, that can’t really be true”.
Same thing when stories involve something good going on in the state or the country.
I wonder if they’d feel differently if there was a different administration in charge or, if they just don’t like good news in general.

K, I don’t see it as a negative, just question the validity. You say it is a plus, then tell me where these jobs are. If 120 good paying jobs came to town, this is good, if it is 120 one month jobs at minimum this means nothing.
It is a huge deal when mechanics get laid off at Georgia Pacific, and again new hiring at Airbus repair, but for someone hired for Christmas rush, not.

You know the answer Katy…the same one’s trying to dismiss this, bash it and toss red herrings are same group that sings praises for Walker …despite two back to back years of worst in nation in job creation…despite has only created 12,000 jobs so far of his promised 250,000 jobs and that only turned into a positive number in last 6 months. When bring all that up, the same poster will likewise wail…~> Oh yeah, if he wasn’t doing so great why didn’t he win the recall…he must be doing great….hmmmpf~~ . Which like they’ve done above, is just a red herring that has nothing to do with the numbers for job creation.
Of course, has absolutely nothing to do with biased political views….not a thing…LMAO.
