I think somebody should take on that Judge who ruled that Duluth could not enforce a “free speech” zone, and contain those two street preachers who keep disrupting the crowds. My reasoning is based on the fact, that our federal government has a number of times created a “free speech” zone and enforced it. In Duluth, when president Bush visited, a free speech zone was inforced, and THAT is where people had to be in order to voice their opinions in public. Also, when the GOP convention was in St.Paul, all people with vocal opinions no matter what side they were on, were corraled into a free speech zone….AND….it was inforced by ARMED ferderal agents. I see NO REASON that this display can not have the same rules apply on public property, if our own government is allowed to do it themselves. It`s time to take on that judge, and have him OVER RULED! Come on Mayor……it`s time now to get this done, so next year people are NOT bombarded with nonsense from those two [or any others], while trying to disrupt a good time at a public park.

The only thing that bothers me about this article, THE ONLY THING… is how the word “Preacher” is used to portray a negative individual. At this time of year particularly, the vast majority, 99.9%, of “Preachers” help all of us who want to, understand the other meaning of Christmas better. With almost daily reports of unimaginable violence, some of these “Preachers” are the ones who help us from becoming totally disenchanted with ourselves. Please don’t equate these 2 with the ones who help us all be better human beings.

I have a feeling I am getting negative “thumbs” because people are misinterpreting who I am referring to, in referring to the “Preachers”. After the first reference, I am 100% referring to those that we most reverently refer to as our “Preachers”…our Pastors, our Fathers, our Rabbi’s, etc that help us deal with the sometimes unimaginable. NOT the 2 fakes who have soiled Bentleyvilee. Sorry for not being clear if that is the reason for the negative votes.

Thanks Mr. Bentley for another wonderful show. In the future it would be really nice if you could keep the show going until at least a week after Christmas or to at least New Years Day! Please take this into consideration. Thanks.

It already runs for 40 nights Steve. If someone really wants to see it, they have a pretty big window in which to do it.

The show DID go on through New Years Day in 2011, but it was SO BLASTED cold and not enough visitors, that they pulled the plug on staying open past Christmas, hence why they began the show 1 week earlier this year.
