The NCAA is far too busy with more important issues like nicknames, to deal sith something like this. It´s easy to look the other way, when the NCAA is making a lot of money off it also.

The NCAA is a monster organization whose whole purpose is to maximize its own cash flow, and assure big salaries for ADs and coaches. The performers are of no concern to them, there’s always another to replace them.
