You know.. Sometimes we don’t appreciate you guys for what you do.. I am sure that you have to live through a lot of difficult times.
In my own humble opinion, the ‘Get it Right’ is spot on.. There is absolutely nothing worse than when something is published and it is wrong. I have first hand experience with an issue where the guys down the river ‘Got it Wrong’.. So wrong it wasn’t even funny. It had to do with a person I know and some other than savory issues that happened around him. While I know they reported what ‘They were told’. There was no investigation on their part, no corroboration of what the local Sheriff’s office told them. They took it for gospel truth. I hate to tell you, but they (the authorities) will tell you what will put ‘them’ in the best light. It was then when I quit believing that you guys even fact checked your info.
The ‘Get it First’, well that is just boss speak for sell papers. Do I blame you? Yes and No.. Yes because I believe that people need time alone and time to themselves. No, because as a business owner I understand the complexities of insuring you turn a profit.

Chuck Haga is one of the best human interest writers I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. He covers stories with respect, humanity and sensitivity. I hope he continues to write so we can all understand the human condition a little bit better. Happy New Year Chuck!
