There will be mass regret across the Northland once Nolan gets in office and very vocally sides with the gun grabbing caucus. Chip’s loss had so much more to do with the multi-millions in negative brainwashing ads and his awkward living arrangement with his family than his performance as a Congressman. He defeated Oberstar for crying out loud! The door will be wide open for guys like Fosle or Stauber to take the next step and prove that 2010 was no fluke.

Face it… He blew it.

Leave- just leave!!! He won because Grams was pulling his strings and the highway 8 project through Lindstrom is a mess – all they would have had to do is lose the on street parking, restripe the road to make it one lane going each way with a turn lane in the middle instead of spending all that money moving light poles, and buying out properties. Parking on street is worse than it was before-

TIMBER & TACONITE……… That is all Northern MN has going for it,,, Chip wanted GOOD PAYING JOBS……
He was defeated because of the vote of the TWO FACED / DOUBLE STANDARD CATHOLICS.

“…unless some huge opportunity opens up in Minnesota, I’ve got two small kids who need their dad.” So if something comes up in MN he will stay- but in the same breath he says his kids need a father- hmmm- well so then he would put his politics before his kids if it came down to it. Or- his kids need a dad- could interpret that as he would take a MN political job, divorce, she would remarry and his kids would have a dad. That statement doesn’t say he would be the dad- Just saying—-

And it doesn’t say the kids wouldn’t come back to Minnesota and live with him. Just saying.

During the elections all of the candidates had their wives on stage with them to either concede or accept the win with the exception of 1? Guess who? Surely not Romney! Has anyone ever seen Mrs. C.?

Gotta agree with you on that one Timmy. Where was Mrs. Cravaack on election night? Perhaps having dinner with a “business associate”?

So, Oberstar was married..?

There is nothing but a culture of despair and blame up here. Why would you stay? 25% poverty rate, lack of good paying jobs, people who want everything but do not want to pay for it and a constant whining about everything which you can hear from Mexico when the wind blows right.

The reason Cravaack and Romney lost is because they said they were going to put all Americans to work in good paying jobs. 51% said to heck with going to work!

Listen to Rush Limbaugh much?

Who can get enough of Rush? He is the all knowing, all caring, lovable little fuzz ball. Coming to you with half of his brain tied behind his back…just to make it fair. Rush is America’s hero!

No, more likely to listen to Ed Schultz – to see the day his IQ will pass his shoe size. ;<)

“he’s been relegated to finishing his term in a basement cubicle in a House office building cafeteria.”
Hmmmmmm….I wonder if he’s still sleeping in his “office”.

Ask Alicia. Remember what Rod Grams did?

Wow, what remarks! I guess you all have been in public office and know what it is like to make “hard” decisions that affect family. Gone are the days when husband and wife are glued to eachother’s sides. The Cravaack’s are entitled to try things their way. If you think you got what it takes and could do better – well, throw your big old judgemental hat in the ring and have a go at it. Perhaps the ridiculous and inappropriate comments in this blog would cease. Chip tried, won, lost, and if he wants to move on, try something different, or comeback again and win a Minnesota political spot – then let the people speak again – and, by the way Nolan’s record isn’t so grand – be careful what you vote and support!

So what you are saying is Chip is no different…or shall we say the same as Oberstar. Grams had a wife and a girlfriend in his office, so Chip is no different…or shall we say the same as Grams.
