For real reporting look to The Timberjay:”When is someone in St. Paul going to start connecting the dots and demand accountability for the systematic fleecing of taxpayers across the state of Minnesota by Johnson Controls, Inc.?”
The article goes on to say none of the promised savings has materialized and their district now has dwindling reserves too.
Mayor Ness said nothing while the district changed the city forever.
Ross of The Chamber pushed for the shiny new schools but business real estate taxes have escalated.
And now another 12% increase.
Even in light of all the disastrous fallout from their Red Plan they don’t get it.

sid…..exactly what I have been saying for quite some time! The Timberjay does a good job….at least they do some “digging” for info…..instead of just “passing on” info that the School Board spoon feeds them….without verification! Notice how this story posted at 10pm on the 18th has a link for comment…..when the same story ( on the front page ) of the website ( posted on the 19th )…..has no link for comment! The story with the link is buried several pages back……so not that many folks will even see the story with the link! So, the DNT will not get very many comments…..does that prove to the DNT that folks are not interested? Kind of like manipulating the outcome to be in line with their agenda! LOL!!
