Let’s see, $395,000 in over payments to PERA via excess contributions, which the city councilors intend on using to make the payments out of, $305,000 in over payments to retirees and $395,000 in repayments to employees that overpaid into PERA via excess contributions, and still have $90,000 left for the city. If I read this right, that doesn’t add up. How much was in excess contributions? It appears by this artcle it was $395,000. I think I’ll have another cup of coffee.
