Remember people- this is Slovak potica- not Slovenian- a world of difference in the recipes just as there is a difference in Slovenian recipes- such as candy like with little bread or more bread with a drier filling- not saying one is better than the other- but make sure you know what you are getting if you order it. I personally, if I can’t make one, prefer the Sunrise Bakery’s pecan potica as it is breadier- they changed their walnut recipe to the sweet less bread so I don’t get that one. Best yet is a home made one from an old family recipe- how ever you make it.
