If you don’t like “Christmas”, don’t believe in God then don’t take December 25th off! Go to work! You can’t have your cake and eat it too. As for diversity in religion we now celebrate most other religions “holidays”, though they’re not a “day off” recognized by government. We are primarily a “Christian” nation, still and so were the founding fathers!
You always have the opportunity to go visit radical Islamic countries and see if your first amendment rights of Freedom of Religion Press and Speech will be honored. Then you can decide if taking a religious holiday off here in the US and deciding its not okay to “Merry Christmas is the right thing to do……
