A gold plaque hangs next to a bullet hole in the Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis., where a lone gunman killed six worshippers and injured three others last August. It is engraved with the words, “We Are One.” Continue Reading

The author is reticent about two important issues in mass killings.
First, mass killings are sometimes arrested, or at least mitigated, by the presence of legally armed citizens. The media doesn’t want these stories to promulgate, and hence the stories are suppressed.
Second, most, if not all, mass killers have the hallmarks of being programmed assassins, a concept that has been well documented, and exposed, for those willing to make the effort to investigate. (At a minimum, there is nearly always an element of a prescription drug usage such as anti-psychotic, anti-depressants, et al).
Granted, the author states in the title there is “[n]o rise in mass killings.” But including the phrase “the year of the gun” directs blame, and hence exposes her agenda.
The “year of psychopaths” might be more appropriate … to reference the obvious assassins, and ostensibly, those behind the scenes, who contribute to this madness.
