I always get a kick out of it when a DNR officer says a cougar is “just passing through.” What, has he got land in Tulsa? If there’s food, he’ll stay. And if he (or she), as stated, is “searching for its own territory,” does that mean there are already OTHER cougars here with whom it has to compete?
