Our view: Hope emerges from U.S. hate-crime data

Racial prejudice may seem to be running rampant in the Northland over at least the past two years, with an effigy of President Obama hung over a billboard on Election Day in Duluth and the charging of a bias crime on the Iron Range later in November among the far-too-many troubling incidents.
