With NHL lockout, UND men’s hockey gets more national coverage

UND is ranked 8th in country with a record of 8-5-3. This is more due to its reputation than performance. As I’ve said before, collegiate hockey means nothing to most people in the country. That the games in Grand Forks attract 11,000 simply reflects there is nothing to do in Grand Forks on the weekends.
