Hate to burst a bubble, but there are many places you can surf & snowboard in the same day…
I’m willing to bet he’s not even the first to do it in Duluth.

Where did pat himself on the back? Where did he call it an accomplishment? This guy owns his own business. What skin off your nose is it if he takes a day off to do something fun? Not many, if any, people have done what he’s doing in Duluth (prior comment notwithstanding), so I’m failing to see the problem with making note of it in the newspaper.

Mike – are you a tad bit angry? At least it’s better than the front page photos we used to get in the DNT back in the 80s of some guy washing his car in Buffalo, New York or some other inane thing they pulled of the AP wire.

Mike, you speak the typical Duluthian reaction. There can’t be any good reason for anyone to be doing anything other than working during ‘normal’ work hours because that is what you do, so it must be wrong. Wake-up Duluth, there is a big world out there with tons of opportunities to have a great life. This guy has it figured out, more power to him. But he has to go someplace other than Duluth to run his business. Whats up with that?
