Whoever wrote the headline of this article has a bias against oil development. The long, longer than necessary, article shows no actual oil development activity causing problems to livestock. This article belongs on an opinion page, not a news page – very sad reporting.

Within just a relatively short amount of time, the folly of hydraulic fracturing will have devastating consequences on our environment, economy, and lives. People where fracking is de rigueur for fossil fuel profits are already experiencing the detrimental effects, as described in this news article.
Humans, being the inherently stupid species as illustrated by historical folly, won’t figure this out until it’s too late to prevent catastrophe. But, hey! Think of the countless billions of dollars of profit the fossil fuel industry will suck out of the land before it becomes useless, barren and toxic.
